Use align_metadata_size, align_metadata_offset and is_metadata_aligned for metadata rather than align_object_size, etc. Use wordSize rather than HeapWordSize for metadata. Use align_ptr_up rather than align_pointer_up (all the related functions are ptr).

Convert Symbol::_identity_hash from integer to short integer to save two bytes. Also change identity_hash() to have 'this' and first two bytes of symbol join the calculation.

Fix the build without precompiled headers by either including the missing ".inline.hpp" files into the appropriate files or by turning inline-functions declared in header files into ordinary functions in ".cpp" files.

When java process crashed in compiler thread, repeat the compilation process will help finding root cause. This is done with using SA dump application class data and replay data from core dump, then use debug version of jvm to recompile the problematic java method.
