Thomas Schatzl 7fd90042ca 8159978: Use an array to store the collection set regions instead of linking through regions

Fix a potential problem with memory visibility in the sampling thread in the collection set by changing the way we store the collection set.

  This file should be located at the top of the hotspot Mercurial repository.

Simple Build Instructions:

    cd make && gnumake
     
  The files that will be imported into the jdk build will be in the "build"
  directory.
